With the recent ECHO showing a 20% Ejection Fraction his heart function is severely depressed. The medications are appropriate for this condition, although others are often used in addition:

Treatment with medications is often adequate. Sometimes the coronary artery disease (if present) can be treated with an intervention to improve the heart’s blood supply. In some patients a heart transplant may become necessary.
