Risk of Sudden Cardiac Death (SCD) PVC/APC patients without any history of cardiac disease

Question:
Hello,I apologize ahead of time for another pvc question. Its seems the doctors on here have been bombarded lately due to recent studies suggesting pvc’s increase the risk of heart problems and scd. I, however, am confused. Some doctors are saying yes, there is increased risk while others are saying no. I would really appreciate some clarification on this matter, as a fellow pvc sufferer myself. I’ve had many cardiac tests and was told that my palpitations are harmless. But of course, that was over a year ago… So, what is ur take on this? Do pvcs increase risk? Should I be worried? Lastly, are palpitations and pvcs the same thing? Thank u for ur time and ur service.
The issue is indeed confusing and based on the recent Atherosclerosis Risk in Communities [ARIC] Study that predicted an increased risk of Sudden Cardiac Death (SCD) (2.26% vs. 0.83%) in PVC/APC patients without any history of cardiac disease.
