Is congestive heart disease progressive My ejection fractiion was 25-30 and the last test was 60-65 Can things get worse again

It all depends on what is causing your CHF. If it due to permanent heart damage, treatments can prevent/slow down further changes for the worse.

You will find the most common cause is coronary artery disease, so that needs to be evaluated, as well as prior heart attacks, or heart valve problems.
As you will read, the proper treatment depends on finding the cause of the CHF and change in heart function.
