We have an exciting fundraising event planned for the Friends of the Portland Community Free Clinic. Twelve hikers have committed to climbing Mt. Katahdin on July 10-12, 2016. Each individual has pledged to raise at least $1,000–our total goal is to raise $15,000 for the PCFC through this event.
This event was spurred on by a grant received last year by the Friends of the PCFC by Climb4acure. The Foundation, started in 2007 by Bryan Neider, raises funds for diabetes prevention and makes grants to clinics who serve low income, uninsured diabetic patients. Bryan has a goal to climb the highest mountain in every state. We are thrilled he will be joining our Katahdin team in July. Climb4acure has already committed $2,500 to this event!
Use the form below to donate to one or more hikers, or make a general donation in support of the event. Fundraising progress for each hiker can be found on this page. Thank you in advance for your support!
