Question:
How long can an elderly person with less than 40% heart function live with his heart in constant atrial fibrillation. Thanks for your time.
Most patients do very well with this condition, but if AF persists, it requires to take a blood thinner such as Coumadin or a new drug, just released, Pradaxa (dabigatran) that will make treating especially the elderly much simpler. Read more here:
