Question:
Hi, when I exercise my heart goes faster but it doesnt get much harder, I have recently noticed this, I am on a beta blocker 75 mg a day. I am not fat, but I havent really been active in 6 months. Its feels like my heart needs to beat harder, but it just stays fast.Could this be because im out of shape?
Of course it goes faster, you put your heart to work to supply extra blood to those muscles you are using! If you are out of shape, try to time how long it takes before your rate is back to normal. Usually the same is true for your breathing. You must have seen what happens to athletes; you bet their hearts are racing. The better your shape, the quicker you will be back to normal,
