Question:
what is abnormal if you have too many cusps in bicuspid valve? What are the symptoms? Can you have too many?

Normally, the aortic valve has three cusps, but in about 2% of patients there is a congenital bicuspid valve (BAV). Read more about the potential symptoms and treatment here:

If the valve becomes too tight or leaks too much, it may need surgery to fix it.
